Multi-channel Ad Performance Dashboard

Every campaign, every channel, one dashboard. No more tab switching.

A marketing team was making spend decisions based on channel-by-channel reports that never told the full story. We built a centralised analytics platform that pulls data from all advertising channels and surfaces the metrics that actually drive decisions: spend, ROAS, conversions, and channel effectiveness in a single view.

The starting point

The marketing team was spending more time assembling reports than reading them. Data lived in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and two other platforms: each with its own date range defaults, attribution model, and export format. Every week's review meeting started with twenty minutes of reconciliation. Comparing channels was nearly impossible because the platforms didn't agree on what a conversion was.

What we built

We built a normalised data pipeline that ingested from each ad platform via their APIs, mapped metrics to a consistent schema, and stored them in a queryable layer the dashboard read from. Attribution model differences were surfaced explicitly: the dashboard showed platform-reported conversions alongside a normalised view. The front end was built around the decisions the team actually made: budget reallocation, channel pausing, and creative rotation.

What changed

The team eliminated their weekly report assembly process entirely. Budget reallocation decisions that previously took a meeting now happen during the meeting. The client identified a channel that had been over-attributed for six months: the normalised view made the discrepancy visible for the first time: and reallocated that budget to a higher-performing channel.
