The starting point
Most people who want to learn to code stop within weeks: not because they lack ability, but because they lose structure. The founders of 365 Days of Coding had seen this pattern with their own students and wanted to build a platform where daily consistency was a product feature, not just an aspiration. The technical challenge was making the streak and progress mechanics robust enough that students trusted them: missed-day edge cases, timezone handling, and catch-up flows all had to work correctly or the core promise of the product broke down.
